In my last post I talked about the treasures I found during our vacation to the lake. I wish I would have taken a picture of what our car looked like because all we needed was a granny in a rocking chair, strapped to the roof and we could have been on the Beverly Hillbillies! The only open space in the car was where we were sitting! Some of these treasures I bought at antique shops and a garage sale, some I found on the side of the road and some I found out in nature. Here they are….
The day before we left I found some “road-kill” (furniture by the road). This chair wasn’t necessarily found on our trip but I wanted to share it.
I bought some vintage fabric and an old grain sack…
Some small grapevine wreaths…
Some vintage gloves…
An antique head board…
A shell, a white urn and a glass jar…
A couple of statues…
And some silver nesting cups…
I found some blue-jay and wild turkey feathers…
I hope you enjoyed my new treasures as much as I do!
With love,
Lauren
I love the chair and fabric 🙂
Thank you Jess! I thought of you when I got the chair:) I actually said to myself “Jess would like this!”
